The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 68th annual session of the Commission on the Status of Women taking place from March 11-22.
“We intend to revive the importance of the primary cornerstone of human life and its proper culture by creating a movement of commitment to the family, and we hope that aligned countries will help us in this process,” Khazali said in the meeting.
For her part, Al Najjar pointed to the efforts made by Oman regarding the issue of women and family and voiced her country’s readiness to play an active role in this regard.
